Job summary

Walgreens Boots Alliance is seeking a post-graduate pharmacist to perform supervised activities, provide medication counseling, and support immunizations and preventive care services.

Under licensed pharmacist supervision, you will assist in compounding, drug therapy reviews, dispensing, and ensuring regulatory compliance, while helping optimize workflow and patient experience. Strong communication with medical staff and community outreach will be part of duties.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist education and licensure prerequisites as listed.
• FPGEC completed or in process; intern licensure required.
• Intern permit/certificate required to practice as per state boards.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medication use, side effects, interactions, and generics.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Dispenses prescribed medications accurately and reviews workload.
• Maintains compliance with regulations and company policies; supports pharmacy workflow.
• Assists in counseling, immunizations, and preventive health services.
• Develops relationships with medical community and participates in community outreach.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from accredited University outside the United States

Foreign Pharmacist Graduate Equivalency Certificate (FPGEC)
