Walgreens Boots Alliance seeks a post-graduate pharmacy intern to provide pharmacist-supervised services, counsel customers, and support immunizations and drug therapy reviews. You will help ensure accurate dispensing, adherence to Good Faith policies, and streamline pharmacy operations in a busy retail setting.

The role emphasizes patient education, teamwork with the pharmacy team, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of pharmacy systems and regulations to enhance customer experience and safety.

Competenze

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited university outside the United States.
• FPGEC certification or equivalent recognition is required.
• Intern permit/certificate issued by the Board of Pharmacy, if applicable.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 45 days of intern hours completion.
• Certified Immunizer or willingness to become one within 90 days of hire.

• Counsels patients on medicine usage, side effects, interactions and safety.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification and management.
• Dispenses prescribed medications accurately and reviews workload implications.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and supports efficient pharmacy workflow.
