Walgreens Boots Alliance is seeking a post-graduate pharmacist intern to support licensed pharmacists in dispensing, counseling, and immunization services. You will ensure proper compounding, dispensation, and review of prescribed medications within regulatory guidelines and company policies.

You will assist in optimizing pharmacy workflow, inventory management, and customer experience while maintaining Good Faith dispensing practices and privacy standards.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited university outside the United States.
• Foreign Pharmacist Graduate Equivalency Certificate (FPGEC).
• Intern permit/certificate issued by the respective Board of Pharmacy.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure from the respective Board of Pharmacy in the states within the district within 45 days of completion of intern hours.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• We will consider employment of qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.

Responsabilidades

• Counsels patients and answers questions regarding usage of medicine, side effects, interactions, and alternatives.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Reviews, interprets and dispenses prescribed medications when workload requires.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and supports efficient workflow, inventory management and customer experience.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy systems and proposes enhancements to promote productivity.
• Develops relationships with local medical community and participates in community outreach to promote pharmacy business.

Educación

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from accredited University outside the United States
