Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice within our retail pharmacies. You will work under a preceptor to complete a comprehensive training roadmap and support pharmacists in daily operations to ensure safe, accurate, and compassionate patient service.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, assisting with immunizations where allowed, and traveling to stores as needed to support the market.

Qualifications

• Accepted into or enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap with focus on KLEs.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
• Learn SOPs, communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Support immunizations and other patient services where allowed by law.
• Travel to stores in the market as needed by the business.
