Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams in CVS retail locations. You will apply classroom learning to real-world practice under a pharmacist preceptor, following SOPs and contributing to safe, efficient dispensing and patient care.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with immunizations, medication counseling, and store operations while developing the competencies needed for a Pharmacist role. This is a part-time internship with flexibility across the market.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited pharmacy program enrollment or admission
• Active pursuit/possessment of intern and/or technician licensure as required by state law
• Open to learning and applying didactic knowledge in real-world pharmacy settings

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription filling
• Follow SOPs and processes at each workstation
• Provide empathetic, customer-centered service to patients
• Assist with immunizations and point-of-care tasks where allowed
• Maintain inventory and assist in dispensing workflow
• Communicate with pharmacists and technicians to optimize patient care
• Remain flexible for scheduling across market stores
