Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to translate classroom learning into practical, real‑world experience and prepare for a Pharmacist role. Under a preceptor, you’ll follow a comprehensive training roadmap with key learning experiences, gaining exposure to store, district, and regional operations.

You will support the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly and accurately, while learning SOPs, policies, and effective communication in a fast-paced, patient‑centered

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus to concentrate on a task
• Ability to pivot quickly between tasks to meet patient and business needs
• Ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy for patient safety
• Customer Service and Team Orientation to help people in a friendly manner
• Use verbal and written communication to interact with patients and colleagues
• Mathematical Reasoning to compute day’s supply and quantities
• Problem Resolution when facing patient or colleague interactions
• Physical Demands such as lifting up to 20 lbs and extended standing
• Express or exchange ideas clearly through spoken communication
