Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams, applying didactic learning to real-world practice and preparing for a Pharmacist role. Under a preceptor, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap with KLEs, SOPs, and leadership interactions to learn store, district, and regional operations.

You will assist with safe, timely prescription fulfillment, customer care, and participation in immunizations and other services as allowed by state regulations.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited college enrollment or acceptance into; Licensed intern/technician licensure in progress as required by state law.
• Ability to learn and apply pharmacy SOPs and patient safety practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork to support the pharmacy team.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Learn and apply SOPs; provide empathetic customer service and care.
• Participate in immunization, telephonic prescriptions, and counseling under pharmacist supervision.
• Support inventory activities and cycle counts as directed by leadership.
