Job summary

CVS Health is seeking 3rd year Pharmacy Interns to apply didactic learning in real-world practice within our retail pharmacies. Under a preceptor, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap, learn SOPs, and support the pharmacy team to ensure safe, timely, and accurate prescription fulfillment while delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications

• ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy required.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help Pharmacists and Technicians manage and improve patient health.
• Assist in safe and accurate prescription fulfillment across production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off workflows.
• Counsel patients, gather medical history information when appropriate, and provide optimal care under supervision.
• Support immunizations and other services as allowed by state law and certification.
• Perform basic inventory tasks and help with cycle counts, returns-to-stocks and stocking.
