Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support our pharmacy team within a CVS Retail location. You’ll apply school learning to real-world practice, learn SOPs, and gain exposure to store, district, and regional operations under a pharmacist preceptor.

As part of a growing health care team, you’ll handle prescription workflows, patient counseling, and immunization services where permitted. Evening and weekend shifts may be required in a dynamic retail setting.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure timely, safe, and accurate medication dispensing.
• Counsel patients and respond to medical questions under supervision.
• Perform inventory tasks and maintain SOPs.
• Provide immunization support where allowed by law.
