Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to join our pharmacy team. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a preceptor, following a comprehensive training roadmap that teaches you the workflow, SOPs, and patient interaction standards.

You will help ensure timely, safe prescription fulfillment and participate in immunizations and related services as allowed by law. You will learn the store, district, and regional operations while serving patients with empathy,

Qualifications

• Required qualifications include being accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focused on KLEs and responsibilities within the pharmacy team.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Support immunizations and other services where allowable by law and training.
