Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice within our pharmacy team. You will work under a licensed pharmacist, completing a comprehensive training roadmap, and contribute to safe, accurate prescription filling while delivering caring service to patients.

You will gain hands-on experience in routines from immunizations to patient counseling, while learning store, district, and regional operations and adhering to company SOPs and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure as required.
• Strong understanding of pharmacy procedures and patient safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and prompt service.
• Follow SOPs at each workstation and support routine operations.
• Provide patient counseling and immunization support under pharmacist supervision where allowed by state law.
