Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support our pharmacy teams in store operations, while gaining hands-on experience under a licensed pharmacist. You will learn to follow SOPs, assist with immunizations and patient counseling, and help ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will rotate through KLEs, engage with leaders in the district, and contribute to a caring, compliant patient experience across storefronts and clinics.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task, pivot quickly between tasks, ensure prescription labeling accuracy.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: assist patients and work well with colleagues.
• Communication Skills: interact effectively with patients and teammates; active listening.
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate days supply and bottle quantities for prescriptions.
