Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice within our pharmacy teams. Under the preceptor, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap to gain experience across store, district, and regional operations while delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and caring service.

You will learn SOPs, patient counseling, immunizations, and collaboration with licensed pharmacists to support patient health and safety during shifts in CVS

Qualifications

• ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment is required.
• Valid intern and/or technician licensure as required by state regulations is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on KLE areas and increasing responsibility over time.
• Support pharmacy operations to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, accurately and promptly.
• Assist with immunizations, point-of-care testing, and other services where allowed by law.
• Communicate with patients and team to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.

Education

ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy

Current pharmacy intern/technician licensure (in process or obtained)
