Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice within our pharmacy teams. You will work under a licensed pharmacist, contributing to safe, accurate dispensing and compassionate patient care while gaining exposure to store, district, and regional operations.

You will complete a comprehensive training roadmap with KLEs and hands-on experiences, including immunizations and customer service, to prepare for a pharmacist role.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited college or enrollment required.
• Must hold or be pursuing intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Maintain SOPs and follow procedures to ensure patient safety and privacy.
• Support immunization services and other patient-care activities as allowed by law and training.
• Travel to stores in the market to cover shifts as needed by the business.
