Job summary

CVS Health in Connecticut seeks a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice and support pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescriptions.

Under a preceptor, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap with SOPs, gain hands-on experience, immunization opportunities, and exposure to store, district, and regional operations. This part-time role requires attendance, flexibility, and commitment to patient care while traveling to stores as needed.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Complete required training within designated timeframe
• Confirm prescription information and label accuracy, ensuring patient safety
• Provide empathetic, patient-centric service and support to pharmacy team
• Assist with immunizations, telephonic prescriptions, and pharmacy operations as directed

Education

ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment
