Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice within our retail pharmacies. You will work under a preceptor to complete a training roadmap, learn SOPs, and gain exposure to store, district, and regional operations while delivering safe, compassionate care to patients.

You will assist with prescriptions, immunizations, and patient counseling, with opportunities to travel across stores in the market as needed.

Qualifications

• Accepted into ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
• Deliver empathetic customer service and caring patient interactions.
• Assist with immunizations and other allowed services.
• Follow SOPs and protect patient privacy and safety.
• Support inventory, stocking, and store operations as directed.
