Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world pharmacy settings within our retail stores. You will follow a structured training roadmap, work under a licensed pharmacist, and gain exposure to store operations, patient care, and safety standards.

You will learn to assist with dispensing, immunizations where allowed, and to provide caring service while developing the skills needed for a future Pharmacist role in a fast-paced health‑care environment.

Qualifications

• Accepted into ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure.
• Eligibility subject to state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow at each workstation to ensure safe dispensing.
• Assist patients with empathy, answer questions, and escalate issues as needed.
• Counsel patients and obtain medical history information when appropriate under supervision.
• Participate in inventory and maintain store-level readiness for operations.
• Support the pharmacy team in delivering safe and accurate pharmaceutical services.

Education

ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy

Valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
