Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world pharmacy practice. Under a preceptor, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap designed to show you what it’s like to be part of a pharmacy team while gaining exposure to store, district, and regional operations.

You will assist the pharmacy team to ensure safe, prompt prescription fulfillment and provide caring service that exceeds patient expectations, with opportunities to immunize and expand

Qualifications

Must be accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
Preferred 1+ year of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical or customer service settings.
Ability to become immunization certified when eligible.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

Regular attendance including nights and weekends.
Complete required training within designated timeframe.
Assist pharmacy team to ensure patient prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
Provide patient service with empathy and professionalism.
