Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice within store pharmacy teams. You’ll follow a structured training roadmap, learn SOPs, and gain exposure to store, district, and regional operations while delivering safe, compassionate care.

You will assist with dispensing, immunizations where allowed, counseling, and collaboration with pharmacists and technicians. This role emphasizes growth, teamwork, and patient-centered service.

Qualifications

• Accepted into or enrolled in ACPE-accredited college/school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure.
• Willingness to travel between stores in the market as needed.

Responsibilities

• Attend regularly, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within the designated timeframe.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Counsel patients when appropriate under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Support immunizations and point-of-care testing where allowed by law.
• Maintain SOPs and protect patient privacy and security.
