Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support our in-store pharmacy team. You will apply didactic knowledge to real-world practice under a pharmacist preceptor, following a structured training roadmap designed to build your clinical and operational skills.

You will learn to operate within SOPs, assist with immunizations and patient interactions, and gain exposure to store, district, and regional pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focused on KLEs and hands-on practice.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation to support pharmacists and technicians.
• Provide empathetic, patient-centered service and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Assist with inventory tasks and receiving deliveries as directed by leadership.
• Remain flexible for scheduling and travel to stores in the market as needed.
