Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning in real-world practice within our retail pharmacies. You will support pharmacy teams, ensuring safe, accurate prescriptions and patient-centered service under the guidance of a licensed pharmacist.

Throughout the program you will follow SOPs, gain exposure to store operations, and participate in immunizations and other services where allowed. This role builds toward greater responsibilities as you progress.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related work experience preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.
• Familiarity with pharmacy workflows and SOPs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists and technicians with daily operations.
• Fill prescriptions accurately and promptly following SOPs.
• Provide caring, empathetic service to patients and answer questions.
• Support immunization administration and clinical services where allowed by state law.
• Assist with inventory, stock management, and cycle counts.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
