Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to integrate academic learning with real-world pharmacy operations in a CVS Retail setting. You will work under a preceptor to complete a training roadmap, supporting pharmacists to fill prescriptions accurately and deliver caring service to patients.

You will gain hands-on experience in counseling, immunizations, and pharmacy workflows while learning store, district, and regional operations.

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college/school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern and/or technician licensure.

Responsibilities

• Follow comprehensive training roadmap and KLEs to build pharmacy skills.
• Assist pharmacists and technicians to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide customer service with empathy and contribute to a safe, inclusive pharmacy environment.
• Counsel patients and handle telephonic prescriptions under supervision as allowed by state law.
