Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice and prepare for a Pharmacist role. Under a preceptor, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap with KLEs and SOPs while gaining hands-on experience in a store environment.

You will assist with prescription processing, patient counseling, and immunizations where allowed, while upholding safety, accuracy, and compassionate service as part of the pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pharmacy operations to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Counsel patients and respond to questions under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Support immunizations and other pharmacy services where permitted by state law.
• Maintain SOP compliance and contribute to a high-performing team.
