Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support our pharmacy teams in retail locations. You will apply didactic learning from pharmacy school into real-world practice under a preceptor, following a comprehensive training roadmap to prepare for a Pharmacist role while gaining exposure to store, district, and regional operations.

You will learn to perform SOPs, maintain patient safety, and provide caring service that exceeds expectations.

Qualifications

• Current 3rd year pharmacy student.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work nights or weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
• Provide friendly customer service and teamwork.
• Follow SOPs and maintain patient confidentiality and safety.
• Use math to determine days supply and bottle counts.
