Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice within our retail pharmacy teams. You will follow a comprehensive training roadmap, gain hands-on experience, and support safety, patient service, and drive for excellence under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

You will learn to counsel patients, manage inventory, and participate in immunizations and other clinical services where allowed by law, while traveling to stores in the market as

Qualifications

• Enrolled or accepted into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely and accurately.
• Learn SOPs and contribute to a safe, inclusive culture within the pharmacy.
• Assist with immunizations and other services as allowed by state regulations.
• Support inventory activities and cycle counts under supervision.
• Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues and maintain patient privacy.
• Follow scheduling needs and travel to stores as required by the business.
