Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to train alongside our pharmacists and technicians in a retail setting. You will focus on applying classroom learning to real-world practice, supporting prescription fulfillment, immunizations, and patient interactions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

You’ll follow SOPs, learn store operations, and gain exposure to district and regional processes while contributing to safe, compassionate patient care across shifts.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular attendance including nights and weekends is expected.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Support inventory activities per SOPs, including cycle counts and deliveries.
• Provide empathetic patient service and counseling and assist with immunizations where allowed by law.
