Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support our pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and caring service in retail locations.

You will follow a comprehensive training roadmap, gain hands-on experience, and learn store, district, and regional operations under a licensed pharmacist You will learn to apply didactic knowledge to real-world practice, assist with immunizations and patient counseling, and participate in SOP-driven operations

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Attend required training and maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Support pharmacy operations to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Demonstrate empathy and high-quality patient service in interactions.
• Assist with immunization support and vaccine-related processes where allowed by state law.
• Follow SOPs and adhere to federal, state, local laws and ethical guidelines.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and technicians to learn and expand clinical and technical knowledge.
• Remain flexible for scheduling and travel to stores within the market as needed.
