Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support our pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and caring service. You will learn through a comprehensive training roadmap and work under a licensed pharmacist to gain hands-on experience across store, district, and regional operations.

You will assist with immunizations, patient counseling, and pharmacy operations while demonstrating empathy and using SOPs to ensure patient safety.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited pharmacy program enrollment or acceptance.
• Valid intern or technician licensure, or in process as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Follow SOPs and provide empathetic, patient-centered service.
• Counsel patients when appropriate and support immunizations and other services.
• Maintain inventory and assist with cycle counts and shelf replenishment.
• Travel to stores in the market to support staffing needs.
