Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams within CVS locations. You will apply didactic learning in real-world practice under a preceptor, following a comprehensive training roadmap that covers KLEs and store/district operations to prepare for a Pharmacist role.

You will learn to ensure patient safety, provide empathetic care, and participate in immunizations and other services as allowed by law, while maintaining SOPs and high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Accepted into ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, accurately.
• Follow SOPs and maintain patient privacy and security.
• Deliver immunizations and other services where allowed.
