Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to help support our pharmacy teams in a retail setting. You will apply didactic knowledge to real-world practice under the guidance of a preceptor, following a structured training roadmap that covers store, district, and regional operations.

You will assist with prescription processing, patient interactions, and engaging in immunization activities where permitted.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ACPE-accredited pharmacy program with required intern/tech licensure.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to follow SOPs and learn pharmacy workflows accurately.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy operations to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Assist in patient counseling and answering questions under supervision.
• Maintain inventory activities and assist with immunization-related tasks where allowed by law.
• Demonstrate empathy and provide caring service to patients and colleagues.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local laws, and CVS policies.
