Job summary

CVS Health is seeking 3rd year Pharmacy Interns to apply classroom learning to real‑world practice under a pharmacist preceptor, gaining exposure to store, district, and regional operations while delivering safe, compassionate patient care.

Interns will complete a structured training roadmap with key learning experiences, assist in operations, immunizations where allowed, and develop clinical and technical knowledge to prepare for Pharmacist roles.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in ACPE‑accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Active or in‑process pharmacy intern/technician licensure.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic customer service and counsel patients when appropriate.
• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation.
• Support immunizations and point‑of‑care services where allowed.
• Participate in inventory activities and cycle counts.
