Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to join our team in a retail setting. You will apply classroom learning to real-world practice under a preceptor, gaining hands-on experience across store operations, drug dispensing, and patient care.

You will learn to operate within SOPs, support pharmacists and technicians, and contribute to safe and efficient pharmacy operations while building toward a Pharmacist role. This is a part-time internship with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on Key Learning Experiences (KLEs).
• Assist pharmacists and technicians to ensure accurate prescription fulfillment and patient safety.
• Deliver patient care services under supervision, including immunizations where allowed by law.
• Maintain SOPs and follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation.
