Job summary

CVS Health seeks a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and caring service in our retail locations. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a preceptor, following a comprehensive training roadmap with Key Learning Experiences.

The role emphasizes patient interactions, adherence to SOPs, and collaboration with Pharmacists and Technicians to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
• Demonstrate empathy and genuine care in patient interactions.
• Assist with immunizations, point-of-care testing, and offsite clinics where allowed by law.
• Maintain SOPs and follow company policies to ensure patient safety and privacy.
