Job summary

CVS Health’s 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program lets you apply school learning in a real pharmacy team. Under a preceptor, you’ll follow a training roadmap to prepare for a Pharmacist role and gain insight into store, district, and regional operations.

You’ll help with daily pharmacy operations, ensure safe, accurate prescriptions, and deliver caring service. Immunizations and patient counseling may be available where allowed.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists and technicians.
• Assist with safe, accurate prescription fulfillment across workflow.
• Counsel patients and gather medical history when appropriate under supervision.
• Support immunizations and point-of-care testing where state law allows.
• Travel between stores to cover scheduling needs and business needs.
