Job summary

CVS Health’s 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program focuses on applying didactic learning in real-world practice to prepare for a Pharmacist role. Under a preceptor, you’ll follow a comprehensive training roadmap and gain hands-on experience in a CVS pharmacy team, store operations, and patient care.

You’ll learn to fill prescriptions accurately, counsel patients, and contribute to immunizations and other clinical services while maintaining patient safety and high service standards.

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting (preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy team in daily operations to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Assist with immunizations, patient counseling, and answering medical questions under supervision.
• Learn SOPs, store workflow, and pharmacy leadership practices while gaining hands-on practice.
• Participate in inventory tasks and customer service activities across the pharmacy.
