Job summary

CVS Health is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program within our Retail pharmacy teams. You will apply classroom learning to real-world practice under a preceptor, completing a roadmap of learning experiences while supporting daily pharmacy operations and patient care.

As an intern, you will assist the team to ensure accurate prescription filling, patient counseling, and safe vaccine-related services where permitted.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited pharmacy program enrollment.
• Must possess, or be actively pursuing, a valid intern and/or technician license as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to assist pharmacists and technicians.
• Help ensure prescriptions are filled accurately and safely.
• Counsel patients and answer questions under pharmacist supervision to support care.
• Assist with immunizations and point-of-care services as allowed by law.
• Travel to multiple CVS stores as needed to cover shifts and support operations.
