Job summary

CVS Health’s 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program offers hands-on experience in a retail pharmacy, applying classroom learning to real-world practice under the guidance of a licensed pharmacist. You will learn to fill prescriptions accurately, assist with immunizations where allowed, and support pharmacy operations while focusing on patient care, safety, and teamwork.

Qualifications

Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
Learn and apply SOPs; follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate fulfillment.
Support immunizations and other patient health services where allowed by state regulations.
Provide empathetic patient care and effective communication with customers and colleagues.
Assist with inventory, ordering, and cycle counts as directed by leadership.
Travel to stores in the market to support shifts as needed by the business.
