Job summary

CVS Health in our stores offers a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program designed to turn classroom learning into real-world practice under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will follow a comprehensive training roadmap, gaining hands-on experience in dispensing, immunizations, and customer service, while learning store, district, and regional operations.

You will support the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescriptions, follow SOPs, and demonstrate empathy in patient care.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment.
• Valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
• Support immunizations and other services under supervision.
• Learn SOPs and contribute to a safe, inclusive patient care environment.
• Engage in patient counseling and medication history collection under supervision.
• Assist with inventory and pharmacy operations as directed by leadership.

Education

ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy

Valid intern/technician licensure (in process or possessed)
