Job summary

CVS Health's 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program in the United States offers hands-on experience in a retail pharmacy setting. You’ll apply didactic knowledge under a licensed pharmacist, complete a structured training roadmap, and support daily operations to ensure safe, accurate, timely prescriptions and excellent patient service.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Demonstrate empathy and provide caring service to patients while following SOPs.
• Support immunizations and patient counseling under supervision when allowed by state law.
• Learn and apply training roadmap components and contribute to a high-performing team.
