Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in a real-world setting and prepare for a pharmacist role. Under supervision, you will follow a structured training roadmap, contribute to safe and efficient pharmacy operations, and develop clinical and technical skills across store, district, and regional levels.

You will gain hands-on experience with SOPs, patient interactions, immunizations, and collaboration with a licensed pharmacist to ensure high-quality patient

Qualifications

• Must be accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern and/or technician licensure as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists and technicians.
• Perform safe and accurate prescription fulfillment with proper labeling.
• Assist with immunizations and other patient services where allowed by state law.
• Counsel patients when appropriate under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Assist with inventory, returns-to-stocks, and cycle counts.
• Maintain patient privacy and comply with all laws and CVS policies.
