Job summary

CVS Health is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program in Peoria, IL. You will apply didactic knowledge to real‑world practice under a preceptor, following a structured roadmap and SOPs to ensure safe, compassionate service.

You will gain hands‑on experience across prescription fulfillment, patient counseling, immunizations, and cross‑functional store operations while preparing for a Pharmacist role.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap with Key Learning Experiences (KLEs).
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Demonstrate empathy and caring in patient interactions to deliver excellent service.
• Counsel patients, field medical questions, and obtain patient history when appropriate under supervision.
• Support immunizations and point‑of‑care services where allowed by state law and training.
