Job summary

CVS Health is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program designed to translate classroom learning into real-world practice in retail pharmacy. You’ll follow a comprehensive training roadmap under a licensed pharmacist, gaining hands-on experience across store, district, and regional operations.

The role focuses on safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate patient care. Responsibilities include assisting with immunizations, counseling patients, and learning to operate within SOPs

Qualifications

• Third-year pharmacy student currently enrolled in an accredited program.
• Willingness to travel between stores in the market as needed.
• Ability to follow SOPs and comply with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly and accurately.
• Provide empathetic, caring customer service at pick-up and drive-thru.
• Counsel patients and obtain relevant medical history when appropriate.
• Assist with immunizations, point-of-care testing, and offsite clinics where allowed.
• Maintain inventory and assist with cycle counts and returns-to-stocks.
• Follow SOPs and protect patient privacy and security.
