Job summary

CVS Health in Peoria, AZ is hiring a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to translate didactic learning into real-world practice, under a licensed pharmacist's supervision. You'll participate in a comprehensive training roadmap, gain hands-on experience in pharmacy operations, and contribute to safe, caring patient service.

You'll learn to manage workflows across production, pick-up, and drive-thru, follow SOPs, and assist with immunizations and patient counseling as permitted by state regulations.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Attend shifts with regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prompt, safe, and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Maintain SOPs and provide empathetic patient service
• Support immunization services and vaccination education as allowed by state regulations
• Assist with inventory and cycle counts under supervision
