Job summary
CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice within our CVS Pharmacy locations. Under a preceptor, you will complete a comprehensive training roadmap to understand store, district, and regional operations, while helping the pharmacy team ensure timely, safe, and accurate prescription fulfillment.
You will learn to operate under SOPs, demonstrate empathy with patients, and gain hands-on experience that prepares you for increasing
Qualifications
- ACPE accredited college or pharmacy school enrollment required.
- Active or in-process intern/technician license as required.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work weekends and flexible shifts.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
- Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow procedures.
- Provide empathetic patient service and engage in counseling when appropriate.
- Support immunizations and vaccination-related tasks where allowed.
- Complete required training within designated timeframe.
- Voluntarily travel to other stores as needed by the business.
