Job summary

CVS Health’s 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program offers hands-on experience in a retail pharmacy, applying didactic learnings to real practice. Under a preceptor, you’ll complete a structured training roadmap spanning SOPs, patient care, and store operations.

You’ll support pharmacists to ensure safe, accurate prescriptions and compassionate service to patients in a fast-paced environment. You’ll also gain exposure to immunizations, basic inventory, and cross-store collaboration, developing skills

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists and technicians.
• Assist with prescription fulfillment, immunizations, and patient service.
• Counsel patients when appropriate under supervision and maintain patient safety.
