Job summary

CVS Health is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program within our retail stores. You will apply classroom knowledge to real-world practice under a licensed pharmacist’s guidance, learning store operations and regional processes.

You’ll assist in ensuring safe, accurate prescription fulfillment while delivering caring service to patients. Responsibilities include SOP adherence, counseling where appropriate, immunization support, and inventory activities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in ACPE-accredited pharmacy program.
• Must hold or be pursuing intern/technician licensure as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow CVS SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists and technicians.
• Assist with prescription fulfillment and patient interactions to ensure safe, accurate service.
• Counsel patients when appropriate and collect medical history information for optimal care.
• Assist with immunizations, point-of-care testing, and offsite clinic support where trained.
• Maintain inventory and assist with medication deliveries and cycle counts.
• Demonstrate empathy, teamwork, and compliance with applicable laws and CVS policies.
