Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning to real-world pharmacy operations in our retail locations. Under a preceptor, you will follow a training roadmap, support the pharmacy team, and learn store, district, and regional operations while ensuring safe, accurate prescriptions and compassionate patient service.

You will gain hands-on experience with SOPs, immunizations, and patient counseling, while developing communication, teamwork, and problem-solving

Qualifications

• Accepted into ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Learn SOPs and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Provide immunizations and vaccines where allowed, under supervision.
