Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in a real-world pharmacy setting within our retail locations. Under a preceptor, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap covering SOPs, patient care, and store operations, while gaining exposure to district and regional activities.

You will assist with prescription fulfillment, counseling under supervision, and expansion of clinical and technical knowledge to support patients and the pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Follow SOPs and established workflows within the pharmacy.
• Provide empathetic customer service and educate patients when appropriate.
• Assist with immunizations, point‑of‑care testing, and other services as trained and certified.
