Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic knowledge in real-world pharmacy practice within CVS Retail locations. You will follow a structured training roadmap, work under a licensed pharmacist, ensure safe and timely prescription fulfillment, and learn store, district, and regional operations while delivering compassionate patient service.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: concentrate, pivot between tasks, ensure prescription labeling accuracy
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people and respond to patients
• Communication Skills: verbal and written Interaction with patients and colleagues
• Mathematical Reasoning: use math for dispensing and inventory
• Problem Resolution: handle patient or colleague interactions effectively
• Physical Demands: mobility, lifting, standing for extended periods
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager
