Job summary

CVS Health is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern position within our retail pharmacy teams. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a licensed pharmacist, gaining hands-on experience across store operations, patient counseling, and medication safety.

You will follow SOPs, participate in immunizations and clinical services where allowed, and develop a roadmap of learning experiences with your preceptor to prepare for a Pharmacist role.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be pursuing intern and/or technician licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
• Support immunization services and point-of-care testing where allowed.
• Learn SOPs and maintain patient privacy and safety in all interactions.
• Assist in inventory tasks and process enhancements under supervision.
• Travel to stores in the market to cover shifts as needed by the business.
